In a near future, where a crumbling society is held together by faceless corporations and myriad law enforcement agencies, a pair of young women are about to be thrown together by fate. Will they survive and be able to seek out the shadowy architects behind a plot which has very personal implications?

Sara Cox is a prodigious young law enforcement agent whose life is turned upside down when she saves another young woman, Carla Swift, from assassination. The two women are forced to work outside of the law as they are plunged deeper into the machinations of mysterious conspirators. The more of the shadowy plot the two women reveal the more they discover about themselves.

A science-fiction thriller set in the near future, ‘Brain Storm’ combines a highly detailed richly realised future world with vibrant characters. Although action packed the story maintains a human focus and the two main leads compliment each other, even when they find themselves at odds over how to proceed.
