First came the comet. Then came the fires. Now we fight to save what's left.
Baptiste, stranded 500 miles from his wife and daughter, at the northern edge of civilization, has made a vow to protect a teenage girl from the chaos that surrounds them. But as food and fuel runs out, and even friends prove they can't be trusted, Baptiste realizes that this promise won't be easy to keep.
Warning: Due to the setting and subject matter (post-apocalyptic North America), this novel contains foul language and scenes of violence.

### Review
"...apost-apocalyptic tale of the strange and unpredictable balance ofcourage, betrayal and integrity bound up in fallible, eminentlyrelatable characters. The plot is fast paced and often surprising, butnever implausible. ... For those of you who are PA fanatics, and those who just want to see if the genre is for them, *Coyote* is a must read."

### From the Author
**Note: As what I believe is a realistic portrayal of both the settingand the characters, this book has more foul language than some readersare used to.**
I've always been one of those people who are drawn to stories of apocalypse, survival, and isolation. This is my view on the way our world could end, and I'm pretty excited to see where the story goes from here.
This story is built around the idea that this could happen; there isn't any divine intervention or magic amulets, *not that there's anything wrong with that*. **

This is our world... after the fires.**
