In a freak Tsunami, Wendy Jacobs loses the person most dear to her in the world, her lover and best friend Kelly Benson. When the cruise ship Pacific Princess is capsized without a trace, eight survivors are shattered across a small Pacific island to find salvation on their own, but little do they know they are not truly alone. Soon clues cause Wendy to feel they are being watched, but can they find out who the secretive and perhaps unfriendly natives of the island are? Eventually Wendy finds her fellow survivors, but being reunited only seems to trigger the unseen overlords of Submission Island to take action against them. Will being rescued from their primitive existence mean even more danger for them?
