Wara Cadogan is the worst missionary in the world, stumbling from one big screw up to the next. Supposedly she's serving the Lord in a Bolivian city high in the Andes, but really she's just running from the past. Just when things start to look up, Wara collides with someone running from problems even darker than her own, who is connected to her in a way she could never begin to imagine.
Idealistic Alejo works for an underground Islamic organization, taking out bad guys in his native Bolivia. The moment has come to rid the earth of Franco Salazar, a politician who dredges up raw memories that brought Alejo to the place he is today.
The problem is that Wara happens to be in the way.
No one else was supposed to get hurt, but now the chain reaction is rolling, threatening everything.
